Biography:

Dr. Karl Mathia has over fifteen years of experience in R&D, engineering management and product management in government-funded research as well as industrial semiconductor automation.  He is currently with Renaissance Sciences Corporation and previously was with Newport Corporation, Brooks Automation, PRI Automation, Equipe Technologies, and Accurate Automation Corporation, where he held engineering and senior management positions. His areas of expertise are in cleanroom robotics, semiconductor tool automation, systems engineering methodology, and control systems. He established and managed multi-disciplinary engineering groups in these disciplines. He published numerous articles in the area of automation, controls and intelligent systems, and chaired and presented at technical conferences. He co-authored two patent disclosures, "Water Carrier Adapter" and "Method for Use and Sensor Fusion Apparatus and Method".
